Cornerstone Home Companion provides non-medical companion and homemaker services in your loved one's home: companionship, outings and appointments, meals and light housekeeping, or simply someone present in the home. Available on its own, or alongside any Cornerstone membership at a preferred member rate, exclusively for families in Palm Beach County.
Some families need more than a check-in. A parent who spends too many days alone. A spouse who needs a few hours to themselves. A long day of appointments. Or simply a parent who does better with company. Home Companion is time with a trusted, screened companion, scheduled around your family.
Every visit is documented, and your family receives a written note afterward: what was done, how the day went, and anything you should know.
Every service below is a non-medical companion or homemaker service, provided under Cornerstone's Homemaker & Companion Services registration (AHCA registration pending).
Hands-on personal care of any kind: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting or incontinence care, feeding, help with transfers or walking, or handling medications. Home Companion also includes no nursing, therapy or medical care. When hands-on care is needed, we refer your family to a licensed home health agency, and Home Companion can continue alongside it.
Home Companion isn't a staffing agency and it isn't a rotating schedule of strangers. It's a private, concierge-level service built around one family at a time: yours.
A direct line to your Cornerstone advisor for scheduling, changes and questions. Never a call center.
Your loved one is paired with a consistent companion who learns their routines, preferences and how they take their coffee.
A written update to your family after each visit, in English or Spanish, so you always know how the day went.
A signed confidentiality agreement, unmarked arrivals, and the polish of seasoned household staff.
Visits arranged around appointments, travel and family visits, with priority scheduling for Cornerstone members.
Every Cornerstone companion clears Florida's Level 2 background screening and the full Cornerstone Screening Standard before ever entering a client's home.
The people who enter your loved one's home are the heart of this service. Here is exactly what we hold ourselves to.
Seven checks every Cornerstone companion completes before entering a client's home. Interested in joining our team? See careers.
Because trust is built one familiar face at a time.
Your loved one sees the same companion, visit after visit, whenever it's humanly possible. Routines, preferences and the small details stay with someone who already knows them.
If a change is ever needed, your family hears it from us first, and the new companion is introduced in person before their first visit. Never a stranger at the door.
